- How does the Virtual Croissant Award Program work?
Each Virtual Croissant has, like the real ones, three sections. As you shop, these little sections fill up one by one. Please note that, in order to see these changes, you must be logged in, otherwise the Virtual Croissants appear blank. - Where can I see how many Virtual Croissants I have earned so far?
In order to view how many Virtual Croissants have been credited to your account so far, you must be logged in. Once you log in, the little croissant images at the top of every page will be filled in so as to represent your current Virtual Croissant balance. When you log out, the images appear white again. - Is there a minimum purchase amount to earn a Virtual Croissant section?
Yes, the minimum purchase amount required in order to begin earning Virtual Croissants is currently $10, with each increment crediting you one Virtual Croissant section.
- Are “dangling dollars” carried over to my next purchase?
Yes, any amount over a multiple of $10 is indeed saved in your Award Program balance and will be included in the calculation of your next purchase. For example, if on your first visit your total is $37.95 (before S&H), you will be credited 3 sections (ie 1 Virtual Croissant, since each is worth $10), with the remaining $7.95 being saved in your Award Program balance. On your next visit, this amount ($7.95) will be carried over and applied to your second purchase.
- Do all items purchased, even gift certificates, earn Virtual Croissants?
Yes, all items purchased at MyBoulangerie are eligible to earn Virtual Croissants. This includes all products (food or non-food) as well as Gift Certificates and Monthly Subscriptions.
- Do S&H fees or taxes count toward earning Virtual Croissants?
Only actual purchase amounts are eligible to earn Virtual Croissants. Any applicable taxes or Shipping & Handing fees are therefore not included in the calculation of Virtual Croissants.
- Are there other ways to earn Virtual Croissants, such as referring a friend?
Yes, there are indeed two ways to earn "extra" Virtual Croissant sections:
1. Referring a friend - upon checkout, your friend must enter your name AND email in the "How did you hear about us?" field. You will then be credited one Virtual Croissant section and be notified by email
2. Returning your Survey - about 2 weeks after ordering, all first-time customers receive a short Survey from MyBoulangerie asking them to rate various aspects of their shopping experience. Each completed and returned Survey earns one Virtual Croissant section. - Will my accumulated Virtual Croissants ever expire?
Absolutely not! The Virtual Croissants you earn are yours to keep. Whether you choose to reorder next week or next year is entirely up to you.
- Once I have earned a full dozen, how do I redeem my Virtual Croissants?
Once Your Virtual Croissant DOZEN is complete, you will be shown a selection of yummy items at checkout from which you may choose your Award, keeping in mind that we will only ship it to you as this is a non-transferable offer.
